Ingredients
Chicken Wings (4 to 5 lbs.)
Willow’s Sweet Heat or Sweet Smoke BBQ Seasoning (Click Here to Purchase) or (Click Here to find it in a store near you).
BBQ Sauce or Dipping Sauce
Directions
- Cut wings to separate the flat and the drum (you can remove the tip from the flat if you prefer)
- Rinse wings under cold water and then pat dry with paper towels
- Start smoker or grill and heat to 250 degrees
- Lay wings on a baking sheet in single layer and place in the refrigerator uncovered for 1 hour
- Remove wings from refrigerator and dust with Willow’s Sweet Smoke BBQ Seasoning, let sit for about 15 minutes
- Flip wings and repeat
- Place wings on smoker or grill (if cooking on grill use indirect heat) and cook for 2 hours, flipping after the first hour of cooking
- After 2 hours of cooking, increase temperature to 400 degrees, cook for an additional 30 minutes, flipping after 15 minutes (Alternate cooking method – remove wings and place in a disposable aluminum pan and coat with BBQ sauce of your choice, return to grill and cook until sauce begins to caramelize)
- Remove from grill and serve with dipping sauce and celery/carrots
Dipping Sauce
Mix two parts ranch dressing with 1 part of chipotle sauce (or other sauce) and mix well.
